This whitefly was located on the leaf a Calamansi (Citrus microcarpa) plant. It was reported to be found in Singapore in the CABI Invasive Species Compendium website. Another species, Paraleyrodes bondari was indicated as a new insect pest in the Annual Report 2017/18 (page 76) from the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore.
